ERSILIA
In this unprecedented period, ERSILIA, a digital platform for image education, accompanies you for distance learning sessions like no other. Every week, ERSILIA offers online activities and training to sharpen your students’ critical mind and eyes. Log in and create your working groups together.
Launched in May 2016 and co-built with young people, Ersilia is an online collaborative platform for understanding the contemporary world through images. The editorial contents are linked to the themes Image and territory, Image and body, Image and memory. They are articulated around emblematic works whose political, social, historical and artistic stakes are revealed through keys of analysis. These give access to unpublished texts, creative games to exercise one’s gaze, creations by young students, and numerous links to reference sites. Each user is invited to design his own path and to share it with his entire network on Ersilia.
Every month, educational modules are proposed by a teacher, an artist, young people, a partner structure, to stimulate new practices and share experiences.
Ersilia is as well:
-A research laboratory for inventing tomorrow’s education: 1,700 young students, 46 schools and structures in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France and Île-de-France regions.
-A community of 100,700 users in the 13 regions of France, in the French overseas departments and territories and in French high schools abroad.
Designed for a pedagogical context, Ersilia is accessible to the educational and cultural community on www.ersilia.fr, on the Lumni enseignement portal, on the ENT of schools, the EDUGAR media centre, and abroad thanks to Mission laïque française.
