« Ode to the vitality, disturbing work , kaleidoscopic, which sails between documentary and fiction... »

Tijuana Carne Viva (2009, 97’)

In Tijuana, the Mexican border, men and women are  trying to escape loneliness and death lurking. Once again, Jean-Charles Hue explores a marginal territory in search of humanity and its unquenchable thirst for life. Ode to the vitality, disturbing work , kaleidoscopic, which sails between documentary and fiction, this first feature confirms the uniqueness of writing the author of Y’a plus d’os.

Projection in the presence of Jean-Charles Hue, followed by a discussion with Patrice Rollet, film critic.
