Focus BAL Books #2 : ROMA

For this second soirée entirely dedicated to the universe of a publisher, LE BAL Books invite Roma Publications, graphic studio and independant publishing company founded in Amstardam by the designer Roger willems and the artists Mark Manders and Marc Nagtzaam.

In a close collaboration with artists, Roma has developped, since1998, along its publications, an editorial policy which is nowadays a reference in the contemporary art books universe.
The soirée will first take place around a meeting with Roger Willems and the artists Batia Suter (Parallel Encyclopedia II) and Dana Lixenberg (Imperial Courts - Prix du livre Paris Photo 2015). They will approach their works, the editorial commitment of Roma and the exhibition projects which this publishing company implements by associating works and art books. The meeting will be hosted by Emilie Lauriola, bookseller at BAL Books.

The meeting will be followed by a book signing of Batia Suter and Dana Lixenberg at BAL Books.
