For LE BAL, he created a unique performance in connection with the Mark Cohen exhibition, Dark Knees.
Thomas Clerc, born in 1965, is a writer. His last book, Intérieur (2013) is a complete description of his appartment. He also does performances especially written for a place (MAC/VAL de Vitry, Nouveau Festival de Beaubourg, les TJCC à Gennevilliers, Festival Les Urbaines à Lausanne, actoral.13 à Marseille, etc.).
In 2005, he published an essay, Maurice Sachs le désoeuvré, then in 2007, Paris, musée du XXIème siècle. Le 10ème arrondissement, first part of moving portrait of Paris. In 2009, he published Nouit, a fiction written based on a photograph by Jeff Wall. His fourth book, a collection of 18 short stories, L'homme qui tua Roland Barthes et autres nouvelles is published in 2010.
