Conversation with Tom Drahos, Paul Pouvreau, Jacqueline Salmon, Alexandre Castant, Arnaud Claass and Audrey Pedron hosted by Michelle Debat, Jacinto Lageira and Patrick Le Bescont, following the release of the collective book La photographie en acte(s)
La photographie en Acte(s) is the result of a three years seminar during which fourteen artists, photographers, critics, curators and lecturers converge their points of view to those of young student-researchers from Paris I and Paris VIII.
The seminar aims to think photography differently from the dynamic verbs which come out of the discussion : repeat, represent, reproduce, translate, transcribe, relay. The collective work, La photographie en Acte(s) (Filigranes Éditions) recounts this long experience by gathering the guests speeches as well as critic texts suggested by the students. The evening of March 5th will be the occasion to extend this collective work about the new modes of photography concepts and about the relationship between the different arts.
