LE BAL is pleased to host Kentaro Suzuki, figure of the alternative japanese jazz, for an improvised live on the masterpiece of the japanese silent film A page of Madness by Teinosuke Kinugasa directed in 1926.

 Bass player, composer and arranger born in Tokyo in 1973 and trained in jazz, Kentaro Suzuki works as a soloist and improviser with musicians of various aesthetics. He is as part of the improvisation universe and of modern music movements as baroque and classical orchestras. He works for many years as an improviser.

At this occasion, LE BAL BOOKS invites the japanese photographer Ryuichi Ishikawa for a meeting and book signing A Grand Polyphony and Okinawan Portraits 2010 - 2012, at 6 PM at LE BAL, in partnership with Galerie NORD, Paris.
