How the cinematographic image can be the witness of an invisible disaster ?
In the experimental cinema field, many directors submit the photochemical substance to a gradual obliteration by the environmental components. In front of the actual environmental issues breadth, due to nuclear - radioactive waste, soil pollution, nuclear power stations vulnerability, Fukushima disaster...- the radioactive mater is a hot topic in the contemporary artistic creation.
The screeening of movies by Emmanuel Lefrant, Tomonari Nishikawa, Jennifer Reeves and James Schneider will be followed by a performance by Jade Gomes and Maxime Fuhrer from the collective "Scotcheuses". They will present their current project, on the area of Bure (Meuse), future nuclear landfill site.
