FCS REDUX | Play performed by Liz Santoro and Pierre Godard

Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle
Thursday June 15, 2017 - 8 PM

Patrick Berger

In line with the June Events festival, the Atelier de Paris-Carolyn Carlson/centre de développement chorégraphique and LE BAL unite to present a play performed by Liz Santoro and Pierre Godard.

Test in situ in the exhibition Magnum Analog Recovery, they experiment a more spontaneous form which plays on the hitherto unseen principle (abandoned materials), on the set (thematic variations in extenso), on the commentary (photographers's speech in the exhibition as an interface to work on the movement). A fancy on the artefact and layout.

Liz Santoro is a choreographer and dancer at the Boston Ballet School. After years of studying neurosciences at Harvard, she has been the performer of many choreographers among which Philipp Gehmacher, Trajal Harrell, Heather Kravas, Eszter Salamon & Christine de Smedt, David Wampach and Ann Liv Young. Pierre Godard recently engaged in a research project in automatic natural language processing to support the effort of information in non written languages, threated of disappearance. Both founded the theatre company Le principe d'incertitude (Uncertainty Principle).
