LE BAL invited David Campany for the publication of the book of the exhibition Road Trips: Voyages photographiques à travers l’Amérique, which he is the curator
First book dedicated to the road trip photography, discussed as an aesthetic genre. This book gathers 18 leading photographers.
It draws a panorama of representations of American, multiplying approaches also by summoning the look of European or Asian photographers : Bernard Plossu, Todd Hido, Alec Soth, Robert Frank, Ed Rusha, Inge Morath, Garry Winogrand, William Friedlander, Joel Meyerowitz, Jacob Holdt, Stephen Shore, Victor Burgin, Joel Sternfeld, Shinya Fujiwara, Ryan McGinley, Justine Kurland, Taiyo Onorato et Nico Krebs.
