Designing and making a publishing object with a guest artist.

Since 2008 160 students from 9 Ile de France high schools have taken part in the programme. 1,645 students have been made aware of the issues involved.

Designed in partnership with the Culture & Diversité Foundation, L’Image en Partage asks twenty volunteer Year 11 students to think "in images" about a particular theme. They have different educational backgrounds – general studies/option cinema and visual arts; or majors in photography, graphic communication, visual communication or signage – which provide the workshop with plenty of different skills and complementary experience. In the course of the year they discover the work of artists and discuss with professionals, working side by side with them as they design and produce a publication.

In 2015–2016 "Rethinking History" was the subject chosen as the main strand for the workshop.

Each year the publication created for L’Image en Partage is presented to the public at a feedback exhibition.
